The Flaming Lips star exchanged numbers with Miley in 2014 after she declared she was a big fan on Twitter and they have since worked together on records such as the band's 2014 cover album With A Little Help From My Fwends and her 2015 release Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.
The singer has been open about taking drugs marijuana and MDMA, even singing about "molly" on her track We Can't Stop, but she told Paper magazine in 2015 she had “never tried any psychedelics".
However, Wayne has claimed in a new interview with the Guardian that she knows a lot about acid, or LSD, which is why she could tell rapper A$AP Rocky had never taken it when he bragged about it to them at a dinner.
“He’d just got a new set of gold teeth, braces things, and he was talking about taking acid,” Wayne said. “In between, Miley was whispering: ‘He’s never really taken acid. He’s just saying that because he wants to write music about taking acid.’ He would keep talking and she would go: ‘He doesn’t know anything about acid.’ She’d know. Cyrus has done acid plenty.”
The rocker continued to discuss Miley during his interview, revealing that they are constantly in each other's lives. They text every day, and sometimes the Wrecking Ball star will even send Wayne pictures of herself on the toilet.
"I’ll say: ‘What are you doing?’ and she’ll send me pictures of herself peeing," he revealed.
He plans to work with Miley on another record but they are currently figuring out how to fit it around her judging role on The Voice U.S.
"I know she wants to make music at the same time,” he explained. “I’m thinking of a way we can make a record without her having to sit there for months and months.’”
