Sci-fi spectacular is due to be released in UK on August 5

The movie, which has been shrouded in secrecy, is due to be released in the US on June 10 ahead of an August 5 release in the UK.
The story is thought to be set in the 1970s and follow a group of young friends who witness a train crash in their small US hometown.
Disappearances and unexplained events in the town see the military drafted in, which leads to the discovery of something inhuman.
Initial reports suggested that the film would be a sequel or prequel to 2008 disaster film Cloverfield, but this was denied by Abrams, who is in the director’s chair for the project.
