South Australia's Daniel Worrall took a career-best seven-wicket haul as Western Australia's Marsh brothers failed to fire in their JLT Sheffield Shield match in Adelaide.
Shaun Marsh made 21 and Mitch just one on Saturday as the Warriors were bowled out for 207, trailing SA by 44 runs.
The Redbacks then wobbled to 5-94, including a collapse of 4-0 late in the day, at stumps on day two at Adelaide Oval with captain Travis Head out for six, having lost three wickets from consecutive deliveries over two overs.
Worrall claimed 7-64 from 21.4 overs on return from a five-month absence since fracturing a foot in English county cricket in the winter, then having back problems in Australia.
"I'm pretty proud of what happened today," Worrall said.
"A lot of hard work has gone into it and sometimes it just clicks.
"I was lucky with a couple of the dismissals but I'll take that when it comes. And I got a couple of the wickets just by persevering on a length.
"To be honest, I just want to win the game. That is what we play for and it kind of won't mean too much unless we can find a way to win the game."
The Marsh brothers missed their chances for a Test tune-up ahead of the India series starting on December 6.
Shaun Marsh resumed on Saturday on nine but barely settled before nicking a Joe Mennie (3-52) delivery to Callum Ferguson at first slip.
Sibling Mitch lasted only four balls, edging to second slip Tom Cooper from Worrall as WA lost 3-9 to slip to 4-44.
Opener Hilton Cartwright (42 from 111 balls) steadied before No.9 Jhye Richardson produced a valuable 53 from 53 balls.
Richardson and Matthew Kelly (25no) put on a 64-run stand for the ninth wicket.
