Led by Saim Ayub's blazing unbeaten 62-ball 113, Pakistan cruised to a convincing series-levelling 10-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the second ODI in in Bulawayo. Chasing 146 for victory, Pakistan overhauled the target in only 18.2 overs.

Electing to bat, Zimbabwe lost their openers early, with both Joylord Gumbie and Tadiwanashe Marumani departing within the first four overs. Dion Myers made a brisk start to his innings with a couple of boundaries against Abrar Ahmad, but couldn't continue the innings for too long, getting trapped legbefore off Agha Salman.

Zimbabwe struggled to find momentum in their innings as Pakistan kept chipping away with wickets even as middle order batters kept getting starts. Craig Ervine, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza and Brian Bennett all departed after getting starts, with Abrar striking four times and Salman picking three wickets.

Zimbabwe were eventually bundled out for for 145 in the 33rd over.

Pakistan, who had messed up in the chase of a low-scoring total in the first ODI, didn't wait too long to go on the offensive. Ayub pulled Blessing Muzarabani for a boundary in the opening over and never went back. The attack continued against Richard Ngarava, who kept getting driven for boundaries. Against Trevor Gwandu, he put his pull shots to good effect, smashing the bowler for a six to bring up his half-century in the 10th over of the innings.

Brandon Mavuta, who was smashed for a six down the ground, was later smashed for three successive boundaries, as his innings kept picking pace. Abdullah Shafique, who was dropped early in his innings, continued to play the second fiddle as Pakistan chased down the target without much trouble.

Brief Scores: Zimbabwe 145 in 32.3 overs (Dion Myers 33, Sean Williams 31; Abrar Ahmad 4-33, Agha Salman 3-26) lost to Pakistan 148 for no loss in 18.2 overs (Saim Ayub 113*, Abdullah Shafique 32*) by 10 wickets
