'Kick Ass' star released on bail and ordered to attend court next month
Nicolas Cage has been arrested after an alleged domestic incident involving his wife.
The Hollywood star has been charged with domestic abuse, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness, reports BBC News.
According to a police statement, Cage got into an argument with his wife Alice Kim outside their rented property in the French Quarter, New Orleans.
The Kick Ass actor apparently grabbed his wife’s arm and began hitting cars.
A police officer reportedly witnessed the incident and took Cage to Orleans Parish Prison. He has been released on bail and ordered to return to go to court on May 31.
The actor recently appeared in films such as Season Of The Witch and Drive Angry.
