Miley Cyrus has reflected on the five-year age gap between her and boyfriend Maxx Morando.
Miley, 31, has been dating Maxx, 26, for three years. Although five years difference between the pair might not seem like a lot, the singer believes the generational gap between them is vast.
"He grew up with a laptop (and) I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters," Miley told Harper's Bazaar, adding that she thinks Maxx is the "coolest kid in Brooklyn."
She joked, "Honestly, he's raised our dog off Reddit. I'm like, 'Are you sure we're supposed to be doing this?' And he's like, 'On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah.'"
Despite admitting that producer and drummer Maxx "looks at life really differently than I do," the Flowers singer believes the couple, who met after being set up on a blind date in 2021, also have plenty of things in common.
"He's very similar to me. We just don't take life too seriously," she says.
The couple are working together on Miley's upcoming album, Something Beautiful. The Grammy-award-winning singer admitted she likes working with her friends and family.
"I worked with my dad forever," she said. "That's how me and my ex-husband (Liam Hemsworth) met each other. I've always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much."
