Maren Morris has broken her silence on her divorce from Ryan Hurd.
More than two months after she filed for divorce, the country singer has opened up about her split from Ryan, also a musician, after five years of marriage.
"I cut all the trauma out of my hair," she said of her new haircut during an appearance on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show on Wednesday. "I think this year has - for a lot of people, not just me - a lot of people that are close to me have gone through it. I've known so many people that have gone through breakups or divorces."
"It's ongoing..." Maren, 33, said of the divorce. "I would like this to sort of wrap up."
Regarding her plans to get back into the dating world, the My Church singer shared that she is currently prioritising her music.
"I don't have the headspace for that yet," she told Howard. "But I'm writing so much right now, that's kind of been my way of dating is just through song."
The performer filed for divorce from her now-estranged husband, 37, on 2 October. The pair share a three-year-old son, Hayes.
