Gigi Hadid has revealed that she and Zayn Malik "have each other's backs" when it comes to co-parenting.
The 29-year-old model has opened up about her relationship with the former One Direction singer, 32, whom she dated on and off from 2015 to 2021.
In a new cover interview for Vogue, Gigi explained that she and Zayn - who have four-year-old daughter Khai together - make co-parenting work.
"Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance," the model explained. "That doesn't mean that it doesn't change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other's backs."
She added that she and the English singer-songwriter focus on having "love, and a feeling of camaraderie" around their daughter.
Gigi then went on to say that she and Zayn have learned to accept the negative comments surrounding their situation.
"There is the hard part of the world knowing this much, and thinking they know everything," she told the publication. "And at the end of the day, we're not interested in giving everyone our whole story."
"What we are interested in is raising our daughter together," she continued. "With so much respect for each other, and not just as co-parents, but what we've been through together."
Gigi began dating Bradley Cooper two years after her tumultuous split from the Pillowtalk hitmaker.
During the interview, Gigi described her relationship with the Silver Linings Playbook actor as "very romantic and happy", adding that she feels "lucky" to have found someone who knows what they want.
