Eintracht Frankfurt will sign midfielder Donny van de Beek from Manchester United in the January transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch international is already in Frankfurt to complete his medical tests as new Eintracht player. It will be a loan move with no mandatory buy option in the deal.

However, if the German club does intend to sign Van de Beek they can sign him for €11 million fixed fee plus €4 million add-ons.
La Liga club Girona were also interested in signing him on loan, but they were offering different conditions, and the deal did not go through.
Van de Beek’s spell at Manchester United
The Red Devils signed Van de Beek from Ajax in 2020 for a fee of £39 million. Van de Beek also signed a five-year contract with United.
The 26-year-old attracted interest during Ajax’s memorable run to the Champions League semi-finals during the 2018/19 season. Nevertheless, other players like De Jong and De Ligt left the club next season, wheras Van de Beek decided to stay at the club for another season.

He scored a goal on his debut against Crystal Palace but struggled to nail down a regular place in the side. Moreover, he only made a combined of 16 Premier League appearances over the following three seasons.
