We have exciting new details for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

So, first off, at the end of the Campaign Story trailer, Sledgehammer Games teased multiplayer. Here are the observations a fan shared from that trailer:

· Boost jumping in any direction and boost strafing are a thing.

· Scorestreaks are back.

· Three shots to kill.

· Eight player multiplayer, based on what little was seen on the minimap.

· There were bars with five segments on the booster, and the headset, which hinted at these things having five levels, so maybe five uses for each? And we can only guess what the headsets do.

What was observed clearly were signs for elevators on what appear to be Planetside-style gravity elevators. Given the enhancements the Exosuits provide, this would be a welcome addition, wouldn’t it?

Now, here’s a look at the multiplayer UI as it is now. You can see the minimap on top left, information on the active players and team mode, as well as score, on the bottom left, and what fans say are scorestreaks on the bottom right. Like it or not, the UI is actually comparatively pretty lightweight this time around, and I suspect this is because that headset thing could be adding more stuff for you to see. Something like Samus Aran’s Scan Visors, perhaps?

Finally, as one astute observer pointed out, that same trailer showed us a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge, indicating San Francisco is one of the multiplayer maps. The bridge is off in the far distance but wouldn’t it be cool if you could actually fight on it? I warrant a guess that you can.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming November 4 to Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
