Britney Spears has finally confirmed the long-running rumour that she cheated on Justin Timberlake with Australian dancer Wade Robson.
The pop star reportedly confessed in her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, that she kissed the choreographer during a night out while she was in a relationship with the NSYNC singer.
"We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night," she wrote, according to The U.S. Sun.
The Toxic hitmaker went on to claim that she was loyal to Justin for the duration of their three-year relationship "with that one exception".
She alleged that she told Justin about the kiss and they were able to move on from it.
Britney and Justin split up in 2002 and he subsequently released the song, Cry Me a River, in which he alludes to being cheated on, leading many to speculate about Wade, who choreographed Britney's I'm a Slave 4 U music video and directed several of her tours.
According to the outlet, the 41-year-old also accused Justin of being unfaithful twice in her autobiography. She reportedly claimed that he slept with two celebrities, whom she declined to name.
Meanwhile, the Stronger singer acknowledged the headlines surrounding her book via an Instagram post on Wednesday.
"Been so busy lately and there are so many hard things to read in the news about my book !!! Writing the book was so hard !!!" she wrote. "Then I woke up this morning and said it's all relative nothing really matters at this point !!! As long as (her dog) Snow has her Noonie the world is a better place."
Justin has yet to address the allegations in The Woman in Me, which will be released on 24 October.
