Australia will tour Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series and a one-off ODI in January-February 2025. The Test series begins on January 29, with the two matches being part of the World Test Championship.
Both Tests will be played in Galle, with the first match scheduled to be held from January 29 and the second Test begins on February 6. The venue for the ODI is yet to be revealed, with the match to be played on February 13, which is less than a week before the Champions Trophy is set to begin.
The last time Australia toured Sri Lanka for a Test series was in June-July 2022, with the two-match series ending in a 1-1 draw. Australia won the first Test in that series by 10 wickets while Sri Lanka secured an innings victory in the second match.
Australia are currently ranked second in the WTC standings while Sri Lanka are placed third.
