Updates to Our IRC Announce Bot | Small changes to our User GroupsDear Community,
While our birthday celebrations are still ongoing (FL), we have returned to work and would like to announce the following changes:
IRC Announce Bot Update:
We will soon (Saturday or Sunday) be releasing a new version of our IRC announce bot. A significant change in this update is that the bot will now report file sizes solely in gigabytes (GB). This means that sizes previously announced in terabytes (TB), gigabytes (GB), or megabytes (MB) will now be expressed exclusively in GB. For example, a file that was previously reported as 100 MB will now be announced as 0.1 GB. Please be aware that these changes may require some adjustments on your end to ensure compatibility.
User Group and Download Slot Update:
In our ongoing efforts to enhance security and address concerns related to peer scraping, we are updating our user groups. As part of these changes, we will be introducing download slots for all user classes, including high-level groups. Please rest assured that this update has been designed to maintain the normal usage experience for those users in unlimited download slot classes.
