2017 has been an impressive year for video games, with many titles pushing things forward with new tech. In such an impressive year, it’s no small feat for Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn to be named as the game introducing the best gaming tech of the year.
In the Digital Foundry’s Best Gaming Tech of 2017 video, Horizon Zero Dawn is accompanied by other impressive titles such as Assassin’s Creed Origins, The Surge, Gravity Rush 2, Zelda Breath of the Wild and others.

Horizon Zero Dawn has been recently expanded with The Frozen Wilds, which introduces a brand new area, new machines and much more. The expansion is a worthy purchase for all those who have enjoyed Aloy’s journey and haven’t had enough of it.
"With a new focused story, a harshly beautiful new area, new weapons, enemies and skills, Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds is a worthy expansion of the open world game developed by Guerrilla Games. Ultimately, it’s more of the same, as the expansion lacks any major new gameplay mechanics, but when so much love is put into a product, is it really an issue? Highly recommended to all Horizon Zero Dawn owners."
