West Indies took very little time to complete their big win over Bangladesh in the opening Test. The home side were always favourites after 17 wickets fell on Day 3 that put Bangladesh under the pump.
Once play got underway on the fourth morning, Jaker Ali found the boundary once in the first over but Alzarri Joseph made a breakthrough in the next. Hasan Mahmud had no choice other than playing a delivery that was bowled on a good channel just outside and he ended up nicking it behind.
Jaker Ali continued to fetch boundaries at one end but Joseph put an end to his stay as well by trapping him lbw as the ball kept a touch low to breach the batter's defence. Shoriful Islam then got hit on the shoulder first ball and carried on only for one more over before deciding to not risk it further with the result being a foregone conclusion. Even though Bangladesh were poor with the bat in the Test match, the win was set up by the West Indies batters who put up 450 on the board in the first innings.
