I walked into my local EB games to purchase Deus Ex Human Revolution Director’s Cut for the Nintendo Wii U, and I saw this advert for a fantastic Wii U bundle… It’s pretty much a steal by Australian standards. The bundle includes a basic Wii U console, Skylanders Swap Force starter pack and the highly anticipated Maio Kart 8. Best of all, you can grab this for only for $279. (Australian dollars, of course)
For comparison sakes, the standalone PS4 is $549, the Titanfall Xbox One will set you back $598 and the Mario Kart 8 Wii U premium bundle is at a dear price $429. To put this in better perspective – a 500gb PS3 that includes Ratchet & Clank, Lego Batman and an extra Dualshock 3 controller, will set you back $399.
This is fantastic value -2 great games (including Mario Kart) and a new Gen console for the price of $279 is very tempting, especially for impulse buyers. You can preorder the bundle at your local EB Games in Australia, although, the poster did not mention a release date, but I am going to assume it will be available on May 31.
