GottaHaveRockandRoll.com is excited to present the auction of one of the most recognizable pieces of memorabilia in the music collecting world, one of Paul McCartney’s Hofner Basses.
This Hofner Bass was gifted to a music executive from McCartney’s personal collection in the 1990’s.
A photograph accompanying this guitar shows Paul McCartney playing the bass with a clear photo-match to the signature on the body of the guitar.
McCartney has signed the body of the guitar, “Paul McCartney waz here”.
Important to note this is a right-handed Hofner Bass which is strummed for a left handed guitar player.
This gem is up for auction now until December 15th here
