The altercation occurred during Curran’s practice run-up on the pitch, with the umpire instructing him not to run on the pitch again.
Despite the umpire’s instructions, CA reported that Curran moved to the other end of the pitch, prompting the umpire to position himself in an attempt to block the all-rounder. The situation escalated as Curran gestured for the umpire to move away, and he attempted a practice run-up directly towards the official. The umpire had to step aside to avoid a collision.
