Brenda Lee's song Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree has reached No 1 in the US, 65 years after its initial release.
On Monday, Billboard confirmed the classic holiday tune - first released in 1958 - had appeared atop this week's Hot 100 chart.
The rockabilly singer, 78, celebrated the achievement with a note to fans on her Instagram Story.
"We did it, Brendanators!" she wrote.
The festive tune marked the singer's third No 1 hit on the Hot 100, joining previous 1960s chart-toppers I'm Sorry and I Want to Be Wanted.
Brenda is now the oldest person to top the US chart, overtaking a record held by Louis Armstrong since 1964.
While attending the 2023 CMA Awards last month, Brenda confessed that never in her "wildest dreams" did she think Rockin' would become her "signature song".
Written by Johnny Marks - who also penned Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Have a Holly Jolly Christmas - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree was recorded when Brenda was 13 years old.
Initially a flop, it rose to the US Top 20 in 1960, then found a new audience three decades later when it appeared in the 1990 film Home Alone.
The song reached its highest ever position in the UK chart last year at No 4. It is currently at No 14.
