PSG have made their worst start to a season under owners Qatar Sports Investment after being held to a goalless draw by Ligue 1 strugglers Clermont.
The draw against Clermont means that Luis Enrique’s side have 12 points after seven league games. This is their lowest tally at this stage of a season since the 2010/11 campaign.

Kylian Mbappe was limped off after a 4-0 win against Marseille. But Enrique decided to start him in his starting line-up despite the France superstar having been a doubt during the week.
Nevertheless, Mbappe struggled against in-form Clermont goalkeeper Mory Diaw and was also booked for diving later on in the game.
The Ligue 1 winners were looking in form after winning against Borussia Dortmund and Marseille. However, this result confirms that PSG need more time to gel up under new manager.

Can PSG bounce back under Luis Enrique?
“We tried to create and to win the match, but it was almost impossible to kick the ball in the right way because it was always bouncing, especially for the strikers when they tried to score,” Luis Enrique said.
“I knew the pitch was new, they changed it three days ago, but we were unlucky to have to play on it in these conditions.”
PSG has won just three of its first seven league games and sits provisionally second in the table, a point behind surprise leader Brest.
Clermont had beaten the Parisians away in its final game of last season but came into this match bottom, and with just one point so far in this campaign.
After a frustrating 0-0 draw against Clermont, Luis Enrique’s side will now travel to St. James’ Park to face Newcastle United in the Champions League this mid-week.
