On Monday, Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan welcomed a son into the world. Prior to his team’s Group A match against Nepal, India bowler Bumrah withdrew for “personal reasons,” which turned out to be the birth of his first child, whom the couple has named Angad. Bumrah posted the article on Instagram with a sweet remark and a wonderful image of the trio holding hands.
“Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it,” Bumrah wrote on his Instagram.

Bumrah and Sanjana, a renowned television broadcaster, got married in March of 2021. Their union was a discreet affair, with a private ceremony held in the picturesque setting of Goa.
