Players will soon be immersed in the harsh yet beautiful world of 10,000 BC North America, where every decision shapes their lineage.
This isn't just another survival game; Neolithic Dawn introduces a groundbreaking multi-generational permadeath system. Each time you fall, you’ll respawn as your descendant 20 years later. This innovative mechanic allows players to experience the evolving landscape across generations, inherit built structures, and even loot the remains of their past selves, adding a unique layer of historical progression to the gameplay.
As a hunter-gatherer, survival is paramount. The game features realistic physics, allowing players to handcraft tools and weapons from stone, scale cliff faces, and navigate dynamic day/night cycles and weather across five expansive open-world maps. You'll face a critical choice: hunt formidable Ice Age animals for sustenance or attempt to tame them as valuable companions.
