Match Preview
Despite their surprising 4-4 draw against Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea last time, Man City are still top of the Premier League table with 28 points. However, Liverpool and Arsenal are just one point behind them.
Before their draw against Chelsea, City secured victories of 6-1 and 3-0 against Bournemouth and BSC Young Boys, respectively.
Moreover, Manchester City have not lost a game against Liverpool at the Etihad since 2015. So, this will give Pep Guardiola’s side an edge over them as they are also struggling with injury issues.
Two of the Premier League's finest forwards go head to head

Liverpool lost just one game in the Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur back in September, and that loss, can be called as a controversial one.
The Reds defeated Brentford 3-0 on matchday 12, as Mohamed Salah scored a brace. However, they lost 3-2 to Toulouse, but they are still at the top of their Europa League group.
However, getting a win over Manchester City at the Etihad would be a difficult job for the Reds. But they are in good form at the moment, and would want to taste their first win against City at the Etihad since 2015.
How about this for a stat?!

Manchester City vs Liverpool: Predicted line-ups
Manchester City (3-2-4-1): Stefan Ortega; Walker, Dias, Gvardiol; Rodri, Akanji; Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Grealish, Doku; Haaland
Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson Becker; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz.
Prediction
Manchester City 2-2 Liverpool
Guardiola will miss his injured players in this game, plus Jurgen Klopp’s key players are returning from their injuries. If Liverpool does manage to get a good start and score early, they might have a chance to win this game. However, counting City out would be a big mistake as they will look to maintain their home run against the Reds.
