Lamine Yamal, the promising La Liga and FC Barcelona youngster has signed a ew contract with the defending La Liga champions, as he is set to wear Barca colors for three more years, till 2026. He has created several milestones since the day he was introduced on the field by Xavi.

The highest point in career came when he was called by Luis De La Fuente in the senior squad of Spain, to play against Georgia, becoming the youngest ever to get called up, but he overshadowed that feat by scoring a goal within minutes of introduction on the field, thus expressing his enterprising La Masia blood.

But, according to Fabrizio Romano, the legendary football pundit, the youngster has decided to commit his future with the Catalans, and has decided to extend his stay at the club till 2026, with a mouth-watering 1 billion euros release clause.
Xavi has thus ensured that Yamal would not be going elsewhere with his impressive first team performances, at least foe next three years, as the youngster put pen on paper an elusive contract which was attended by president Joan Laporta, Deco and Rafa Yuste.
