Who says being a hater doesn't pay off? Today, Kendrick Lamar earns his first UK Number 1 single with the dizzying Not Like Us, nine months after its original release.
Following an increase in attention after Kendrick’s performance of the diss track at his Super Bowl LIX halftime show, Not Like Us re-entered the Official Singles Chart Top 10 at Number 2 last week, and today ascends to the top spot.
Gaining 6.4 million streams over the last 7 days, Not Like Us also earns the title of the most-streamed song in the country this week.
Kendrick also sees two collabs with SZA, luther (4) and All The Stars (5) rebound back into the Top 5 this week, with luther reaching a brand-new peak, and All The Stars a re-peak. Further down, Kendrick is also present as a featured artist on SZA’s own 30 for 30 (33), which rises six week-on-week.
Meanwhile, Chappell Roan continues to enchant with Pink Pony Club; the effervescent synth-pop anthem jumps to a brand-new peak of Number 3 today.
