Ice Spice prefers to keep her inner circle small.
During an interview with Variety, the 23-year-old rapper explained that she intentionally keeps her circle small.
"I like the core people to be my producer (RiotUSA) and manager," Ice told the publication. "Any type of obstacles we face we try to get over, because I don't want to start over with somebody."
Ice, real name Isis Gaston, shared that she is inspired by stars who have close and consistent relationships with the people they work with.
"And I kind of look up to people like Taylor working with Jack Antonoff, and Billie Eilish with her brother, Finneas," the Barbie World singer shared. "People like that, it's super cool to me when there's a team and there's some consistency there."
The rapper noted that her manager, James Rosemond Jr., helps her to filter out the requests she receives from people who want to work with her.
Elsewhere in the interview, Ice revealed that she spends a lot of her time in hotel rooms.
"The truth is, I'm everywhere. I'm constantly moving," she said. "I'm always moving because people are starting to notice me a lot, and things get weird and creepy really quickly. But I mostly be staying in hotel rooms; that's really where I live."
