Ice Pick Lodge Teases New ‘Pathologic’ Game
“Pathologic” was a game that we never got around to playing because we were not much of a PC gamers back in 2005. However, from what I understand, it was quite the experience. Now it looks like developer Ice Pick Lodge is looking to revive the game and they’ve offered up a creepy little teaser to generate interest.
The teaser, which you can view below, features a couple of “doctors” talking about the history of a plague and how its making a sudden comeback. It all strikes me as a being a bit familiar. From there you’re led to a teaser site which contains a countdown that ends on September 4th, presumably when they’ll make some sort of official announcement.
If you enter your email address you get a letter from a character identifying himself as Voronika. It looks like they have some sort of possible ARG planned.
You can even find an additional secret on the teaser site, try clicking one of the heads.
For now, we’ll have to wait for September 4th to see what happens next.
