Foo Fighters are set to make their live return this October to headline the Singapore F1 Grand Prix concerts – find out more below.

Today (May 14), the Singapore Grand Prix announced its second wave of performers, confirming that Foo Fighters will headline day two of the three-day festivities on October 4. Previously announced to headline day one was K-pop superstar G-Dragon, while the Singapore Grand Prix shows are being closed out on Sunday by Elton John, despite claims of retiring from touring.
Foo Fighters wrote on Instagram following the announcement: “Singapore, see you soon!”
The October 4 show will mark the band’s first show since August 2024. It is their first show of 2025, and according to their website is currently their only gig of the year.
Other new additions to the Singapore Grand Prix include The Smashing Pumpkins, Alan Walker, Crowded House, CL, BABYMETAL, Tom Grennan and more. Tickets to the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix are on sale now – you can buy yours here.
The October comeback also mark the band’s first appearance together since Grohl courted controversy in September when he revealed that he had fathered a daughter outside of his marriage.
Following the news, Foo Fighters subsequently cancelled their scheduled headline slot at the Soundside Music Festival. In December, Hellfest founder and director Ben Barbaud claimed that the band had scrapped a summer 2025 tour, suggesting that Foo Fighters were primed to headline the French festival but were instead replaced by Muse.
Following the revelation about Grohl’s new daughter, the musician’s representatives debunked a viral “love child” post circulating on social media – in which an Instagram user claimed to be the mother of the baby.
In the time since, he’s reunited with Nirvana for a surprise appearance at the FireAid benefit concert. This saw them perform with St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and Grohl’s daughter Violet to deliver a number of greatest hits. Later, he teamed up with his former Nirvana bandmates again, this time alongside Post Malone, for the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Saturday Night Live.
Last month, he made a surprise appearance at Coachella, where he played a handful of Foo Fighters songs live for the first time since August.
