Hold on to your butts, DOOM is going Lovecraftian levels of horror, with the reveal of the Cosmic Realm in DOOM: The Dark Ages. id Software revealed a never-before-seen location and enemy within DOOM™: The Dark Ages. The DOOM Slayer will explore the strange lands of the Cosmic Realm, battling insane enemies including the monstrous Cosmic Baron and otherworldly Cacodemon.
In the gameplay trailer for the new location, the DOOM Slayer ventures into a place we've not seen in the DOOM franchise, where Eldritch horror and big f***ing guns collide, featuring new and weird enemies, strange environments, and of course, a big monster for an octopus for a face! There's a lot to see in the latest gameplay trailer below, and it's getting us even more pumped up for the arrival of DOOM: The Dark Ages, which will release on May 15th, will be a day one release on Xbox Game Pass, and those who pre-order the ultimate edition, will get two days early access.
DOOM: The Dark Ages launches on May 15 for Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, PC, and Battle.net. Pre-order the Premium Edition to receive two days of early access, along with the Digital Artbook and Soundtrack, the Divinity Skin Pack, and access to the campaign DLC coming at a later date.
