Cristiano Ronaldo sends special ‘surprise gift’ to Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr after he suffered an injury against Colombia last week.
After Portugal’s win over Liechtenstein, Cristiano Ronaldo sent a surprise gift to Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.
Vinicus Jr wears the number 7 jersey at Real Madrid, after Eden Hazard left which was also worn by Cristiano Ronaldo. Moreover, the Brazilian winger has always admired the Portuguese star.
The 23-year-old recently posted a picture of the jersey Ronaldo wore in Portugal’s 2-0 win over Liechtenstein on November 16.

Ronaldo was perhaps responding to Vinicius pulling out the famous ‘Calma’ celebration when Real Madrid beat Valencia 5-1 in La Liga.

Unfortunately, Vinicius suffered another injury this season in Brazil’s 2-1 loss to Colombia in the World Cup qualifiers. Nevertheless, Ronaldo lifted his spirits by sending him his jersey.

Vinicius Jr has admitted that he regrets not playing with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid. The Portuguese star is Los Blancos’ record goalscorer and is regarded as the club’s best player. Ronaldo’s gift will cherish Vinicius for the rest of his life.
Ronaldo pulled off the ‘Calma’ celebration for the first time against Real Madrid’s eternal rival Barcelona in El Classico back in April 2012.
After leaving Europe, he decided to join the Saudi Pro League club, Al Nassr in January. Despite being 38 years old, Ronaldo is having a fantastic season as he already has 18 goals and 9 assists in 18 matches across all competitions this season.
Moreover, he scored a brace against Al Akhdoud this weekend, which also included a 40-yard screamer from the striker.
