The Portuguese striker has scored 16 goals in 17 appearances prior to Al Nassr’s Friday night clash at home to Al Akhdoud.
Al Nassr took the lead after 13 minutes after Sami Al Naji’s striker. It also looked like it would be the only goal of this game, but Ronaldo had other ideas.
Ronaldo scores a brace against Al Akhdoud with a long-range stunner
The 38-year-old scored the second goal for Al Nassr in the 77th minute to increase their lead to 2-0.
However, just three minutes after scoring his first goal Ronaldo scored one of the best goals of this season in the Saudi Pro League. Al Akhdoud goalkeeper Paulo Vitor attempted to clear the ball but it fell onto the chest of the onrushing Ronaldo.
Ronaldo then controlled the ball and from around 40 yards out he attempted an audacious lob that looked like it was heading over the bar, but it dipped in.
