Friday night saw another unmissable night in the BRITs Week 24 for War Child series with BRIT-nominated Irish singer CMAT bringing fiery enthusiasm to a packed Bush Hall, meanwhile chart-storming drum ‘n’ bass artist Venbee performed at Omeara. CMAT’s performance was opened by the brilliant Lorraine Bowen.
BRITs Week for War Child 24 gives fans the opportunity to see intimate one-off performances from some of the biggest and most exciting names in music in some of the UK’s best venues. Since BRITs Week’s inception in 2009, the shows have raised more than £7 million for War Child to help children whose lives have been torn apart by war.
BRITs Week is produced by AEG Presents, BPI, Bauer Media Audio UK and War Child, the charity for children affected by conflict. Proceeds from the shows will help to support War Child’s work that aims to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and stay to support them through their recovery - keeping them safe, helping them learn and cope with their experiences, and equipping them with skills for the future.
BRITs Week shows take place around The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard on March 2nd to celebrate another exceptional year in British music.

BRITs Week for War Child 24 concludes on Monday, March 4th, with Brit Rising-Star Award winners The Last Dinner Party taking the stage at The Trades Club, Hebden Bridge, accompanied by support act Rachel Chinouriri. This year’s lineup has already seen Cian Ducrot, You Me At Six, Keane, Ash, Baby Queen, Aitch, Pendulum, AURORA, Gabriels and Sleaford Mods play intimate shows.
