Britney Spears has thanked her fans for supporting her autobiography The Woman in Me.
The pop star took to social media on Tuesday night to thank her fans for making her book the best-selling celebrity memoir on its day of release.
"It's happening !!! My book is the highest selling celebrity memoir in history and it's only day 1 !!! Thank you to the fans who have been so supportive !!! Love you all !!! #TheWomanInMe @gallerybooks @simonandschuster," she wrote.
While The Woman in Me currently tops Amazon's Best Sellers list and the charts of various bookstores, her claim has not been confirmed.
Britney tapped Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams to narrate the audio version of her book, and a particular moment went viral on Tuesday night thanks to Michelle's impression of Justin Timberlake.
In the book, Britney claimed that her then-boyfriend and his NSYNC bandmates "tried too hard" to fit in with Black artists and recalled an encounter between Justin and Pony hitmaker Ginuwine.
"J got all excited and said, so loud, 'Oh yeah, fo shiz, fo shiz! Ginuwiiiine! What's up, homie?'" Britney wrote.
Reacting to Michelle's hilarious line reading, one social media user posted, "Five-time academy award nominee Michelle Williams saying 'fo-shiz fo-shiz what's up homie!' is art," while another declared, "Michelle Williams is going to get a Grammy for this."
Britney and Justin dated between 1999 and 2002.
