Axl Rose has reached a private settlement over a sexual assault lawsuit.
In November 2023, former actress-model Sheila Kennedy filed a lawsuit against the Guns N' Roses frontman in which she alleged he attacked and raped her in a Manhattan hotel room in 1989.
The complaint was brought under New York's Adult Survivors Act, a one-year window that extended the statute of limitations for allegations of sexual misconduct.
But on Tuesday, editors at Rolling Stone reported that Rose and Kennedy had reached a private settlement over the case.
Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
In a statement issued to the publication, Rose - real name William Rose Jr. - maintained his innocence.
"As I have from the beginning, I deny the allegations. There was no assault," the 62-year-old said, while his lawyer E. Danya Perry added: "Mr. Rose has suffered greatly from this lawsuit, and I am pleased that he will now be able to move on with his life."
Kennedy, also 62, has not yet commented on the settlement.
She first detailed her allegations against Rose in her 2016 memoir No One's Pet and repeated them in the 2021 documentary Look Away.
