I want to take this opportunity to address a couple of things:
AR is not 'dead' in any way. Our donation system has been down for quite a while and we're aware of it. We have plans of making a system to accept Monero only. But, we're not in a rush.
We have been paying the bills with the generosity of our past donations that we've squirreled away. We are not in any danger of running out of our nest egg for the foreseeable future.
Speaking of bills though: ALL of our 'frequent' downtime is due to our host being unreliable when it comes to renewing servers even though we pay our bills on schedule. (I may receive some scolding for putting this information out there, but I'm willing to accept the responsibility to keep our members informed)
I, personally see that general/0-day trackers are being fazed out. AlphaRatio has never wanted to be a 'top tier' tracker. This site was made out of love for pirating. Simple as that. The love we have has not faded.
Thank you to all the users who wish to donate and thank you to everyone for simply wishing the torrent community the best and wanting it to thrive. Whether that's AR or another preferred tracker.
