Happy Thanksgiving! | Some updates

As we gather to give thanks, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to all of you who continue to support and contribute to our community. We truly appreciate each of you and are excited to share some important updates as we move forward together.

Slot System Update:
We’re making some changes to our slot system to improve your experience:
• We’re adding an additional 1080p slot for smaller encodes. This should give you more flexibility in choosing your preferred file size and quality.
• We’re also allowing for the coexistence of web versions from a different service provider, as long as they’re not significantly inferior in quality for TV shows. However, for movies, the best version will always take priority.
• Internals now have a new claim system in place. Internals will be instructed to make use of this system, which will help prevent accidental nukes of your uploads by an internal user. This should make the process smoother and more secure for everyone.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the members who stepped up to provide content when Blutopia went down. Your contributions were invaluable, and it’s a big reason our community remained strong during that time. We appreciate your effort and generosity. We hope you all continue to enjoy Aither as well as supporting all the torrenting communities.

Description Notes & Reporting Missing Information:
We’ve realized how many description notes were lost when Blutopia went offline, and we want to make sure that vital information isn’t missing going forward. Description notes are incredibly important, so if you come across any torrents that are missing notes, please report them so they can be added. We also aim to provide whatever notes we can to Blutopia to ensure everyone has the necessary details no matter which site they’re using.
