Indie micro-studio Mad Fellows is thrilled to announce that Aaero2 will be released in September 2024. The rhythm game will debut on Xbox Series X|S, with the Steam release following shortly after. Other platforms are to be added at a later date.
The first Aaero was a critical success, winning various awards and receiving high praise from critics and gamers alike. For the sequel, the game has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, taking into account and addressing every single piece of feedback the team could find on the first game.
One of the most exciting additions to Aaero2 is the introduction of multiplayer modes. Players can now enjoy co-op and PvP gameplay, both locally and online, adding a new layer of excitement and competition to the rhythm rail-shooter.
The game features an epic soundtrack by Monstercat, which is guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping as you swerve through the levels and blast imposing bosses.
The IndieGoGo Campaign launched just a week ago and has already been fully-funded. With the game close to 99% finished, the fundraiser campaign was more of a way to get fans invested earlier and to allow them to contribute to their next favourite game. Players can still participate in the campaign today to score themselves a discount and get a mention in the credits.
