50 Cent has revealed he’s giving up sex for a year so he can "focus."
The rapper has told his Instagram followers that 2024 will be a year of abstinence for him.
“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted. I’m practicing abstinence,” he wrote in a caption on Tuesday.
He added: “I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”
Although he didn’t elaborate on what his big new idea is, the post was accompanied by a picture of him wearing a suit and tie, smoking a cigar, with a glass of his award-winning brandy Branson Cognac on the table.
In the post, he also tagged his Champagne line, Le Chemin du Roi.
The Power producer’s announcement comes after rumours that he has split with his girlfriend of a year, aspiring lawyer, Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines.
50 Cent has grown several business ventures over the last few years. Despite being declared bankrupt in 2015, the Get Rich or Die Tryin' singer has gone on to establish a successful range of companies including G-Unit Records that included a deal with Reebok. He also owns Sire Spirits, the company that makes his brandy and Champagne brands.
