Chris Evans and Samuel L Jackson film scenes in Times Square
Extra shooting for the new Captain America film took place in New York over the weekend (April 23).
Despite the fact Captain America: The First Avenger is due to be released in less than three months’ time, director Joe Johnston took to Times Square to get some last-minute footage.
Lead actor Chris Evans and co-star Samuel L Jackson both appeared in the scene in Times Square – you can view fan footage of the set by scrolling and clicking below.
It has been speculated that the scene could be a post-credits sequence which segues into next year’s all-star Marvel Productions movie The Avengers.
